AI-Powered Moderation

Every JamComments account has the ability to automatically approve comments as they’re submitted. But this also carries with it some risk. To ease some of that hassle, paid JamComments plans come with AI-powered moderation. Set a prompt, and it’ll be used to assess whether a new comment should be automatically approved or left in a “pending” state.

Prerequisites

First, make sure you’re on a paid plan. You can do so by heading to the Settings page.

Setting a Prompt

Once that’s taken care of, head your site’s settings and scroll down to the Auto-Approval settings. Toggle the switch.

Next up, set a prompt you want to use for assessing new comments.

Testing a Prompt

If you’d like, you’re welcome to test your prompt against example comments. Use by clicking the “Test Prompt” link beneath your prompt.

These test requests are rate-limited. You’ll only be able to run up to five tests per minute.
