This app came out at just the right time. When covid came and flooded the US, I became so anxious and fear-ridden. When I started using the Pause app, I started giving myself permission to lay down everything in surrender to the Lord. In the middle of all the world's anxiety, I felt peace. Very thankful for this app and the practices it teaches that help me slow down, surrender, and commune with God. It's freeing
When I was going through a many months of bed-ridden sickness, at the most humbled and low point in my life, I used the Light Phone II as my phone in place of a smartphone. When I could've instead tried to numb the pain and endlessly scroll, I opted to slow down, unplug, and engage in the world around me. This phone actually made that a ton easier. I had more time to pray. More time to journal and reflect on things I'd been avoiding. I had more time to rest and listen for the voice of the Lord. It was a great device for a time of need. Thank you, Light Phone team.
I'm a little biased with this one, since I created it. However, it has helped a lot when trying to find a specific Bible verse using just a few words I knew off the top of my tongue. It's helped a ton when reading the Word and wanting to dig a little deeper. And, when I have a question about the Bible, I can get a solid answer that points to resources like Got Questions and more. I'm thankful for this as a companion to my morning quiet times
We use Ever Accountable in our LifeGroup. It's helped us have screen accountability and make the conversation easy to live a life of digital and mental purity. Thankful for tools like this that exist. They help us be real with one another and address a problem controlling the lives of many, keeping them in the cycle of shame. With having Ever Accountable on my devices, I feel a peace knowing that my friends got my back with helping keep my mind and heart pure

Hey Jonna, thanks for letting me know the app no longer works. I'll contact the creator. Thanks!
